PPF or ceramic coating? Still can't decide

Every time I think I've made up my mind I read something that flips me back the other way. Ceramic coating sounds great for shine and easy cleaning but it won't stop a rock chip. PPF protects against physical damage but costs way more and I've heard it can dull the paint slightly. My car is a daily driver, not a garage queen, so I need something practical. Someone sent me a page that explains how Paint Protection Film compares PPF to ceramic coating which was actually pretty useful because it laid out the differences without pushing one option. Now I'm thinking maybe doing both makes sense, film on the front end and ceramic everywhere else. Is that overkill? What did you guys end up choosing and are you happy with it?
