So I've had my 2019 RS5 for about a year now and it's been an absolute beast on the open road, but I've noticed something that's been bugging me lately and I'm not sure if it's just a characteristic of the dual-clutch transmission or if there's actually something wrong. When I'm stuck in stop-start traffic, which is basically every day here in Dubai, the gearbox can be really jerky and hesitant at low speeds, especially when crawling along at walking pace. It feels like the clutches are struggling to engage smoothly and the car kind of lurches forward slightly when I lift off the brake, and it's honestly quite annoying for daily driving. I know DCTs are known for being a bit clunky at low speeds compared to traditional automatics, but this seems a bit excessive to me and I'm worried it might be the early signs of clutch wear or a mechatronic issue developing. I've taken it to a couple of places and they've both said it's "normal behavior" for these cars, but I can't help feeling like they're just brushing me off because they don't want to deal with it.
