My Golf R's paint is absolutely covered in tar spots

I'm genuinely at my wit's end with this and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction before I do something stupid and make it worse. I took my 2019 Golf R on a road trip up the coast a couple of weeks ago and there was some roadworks along the way where they'd obviously just laid fresh asphalt, and now my beautiful white car is absolutely covered in these tiny black tar spots that I just cannot seem to shift no matter what I try. I've been through half a bottle of tar remover, tried clay bars, even tried some of those specialist bug and tar wipes that are supposed to dissolve this sort of thing, but nothing seems to make a dent in them and I'm starting to worry that I'm going to end up damaging the paint if I keep aggressively scrubbing at it. The car is otherwise in really good condition and I've been meticulous about keeping it clean, but these tar spots are driving me absolutely crazy and they make the car look so much worse than it actually is. I've been asking around for recommendations on where to take it because I think I need to just admit defeat and hand it over to professionals who have the right products and techniques to deal with this sort of thing without damaging the paintwork. A few people have mentioned that there are some reliable Volkswagen detailing specialists in Musaffah Industrial who apparently deal with this sort of thing all the time, especially on cars that do a lot of highway driving. I'm planning to book it in as soon as possible because I can't stand looking at the car in its current state, but I'd really like to hear from anyone who's had a similar issue and what actually worked in the end. Did you manage to get the tar spots off eventually, and did you need any special treatment to get the paint back to its original condition? I'm also a bit worried that the spots might have baked on in the heat and caused some permanent damage, so any reassurance or advice on what to expect would be really helpful. The car's only got about 40,000 kilometres on it and I want to keep it looking as good as possible for as long as possible, so I want to make sure I'm not doing more harm than good by trying to DIY this. Any advice from people who've been through this would be massively appreciated because I'm genuinely stressed about this and I just want my car to look clean again.
